The first coating system with integrated oxidation and powders

The Kikau coating process combines anode oxidation and powder coating on an automated line, creating a double layer of pain that guarantees exceptional resistance to rusting and durability over time.

Anode oxidation, substituting the traditional chromatization and phosphochromatization, ensures better protection of the aluminium against atmospheric agents, without the toxic effects of chromium, making it ideal for highly-polluted, humid or marine environments.

Kikau aluminium: maximum purity and high technical performance

Step 01

Anode
oxidation

Anode oxidation is an electrochemical process that creates a layer of oxide on the aluminium alloy, improving the material’s resistance to rusting.

Step 02

Powder
coating

The coating phase applies polyester powder paints that, when charged electrostatically, cover the aluminium surfaces. The paints are then polymerised at high temperatures to obtain a solid, resistant, non-toxic coating.
